Local businessman, Mr Abdul Jaffer, owns the home, and is committed to ensuring that the home provides the highest standard of care in comfortable and homely surroundings. Abdul has over seven years experience as a Managing Director in the Care Industry, and owns 3 other nursing homes in Dorset.

Donna Neilson
Operations Manager
Donna has worked in the Nursing industry since 1996, her last role being a Ward Sister managing a team of 40 staff on a 30-bedded acute surgical ward.

Qualifications RGN, BSC Degree in Clinical Nursing, NVQ Assessor and Student Mentor.

Corrine Goldsmith
Acting Manager
Corrine is a first level nurse with Bsc (hons) in Gerontological nursing (nursing older people). She has worked in various settings with older people for over 12 years now. She is now matron at Avalon Nursing Home.

Qualifications RGN, Diploma Higher education (Care of Older People), Bsc (Hons), ENB 998, manual handling trainer.
